Project
Simple Pharma is a London startup that runs operations, distribution and compliance for pharma companies as a single digital service. By automating the repeatable work and lowering unit costs, it helps products reach the market faster and cheaper, and stay on the market longer.
We built the web platform that runs their supply management operations: a registry of suppliers, purchase order management, demand forecasting, inventory, shipping, revenue tracking, agent user management and KPI reporting. We designed and developed it as one connected system, so a small team could run the full supply chain without stitching separate tools together.
The challenge
Simple Pharma sells pharma clients speed and lower cost through software-run operations. But the supply side itself, suppliers, purchase orders, shipments, inventory and forecasting, had no single system to run on. Tracking that across separate tools does not scale, and for a lean startup it ties up the exact people who should be growing the business. They needed one platform that ran supply management as a connected workflow, so the automation they sell to clients was real in their own operation first.
Solution
A centralised platform for the whole supply operation.
We designed and developed a web application that consolidates supply chain operations into a single, intuitive interface, improving efficiency, visibility and control across every market the team manages.

Design and UX
Five modules, one interface a small team can actually run.
Supply management is dense: orders, shipments, stock and forecasts, each carrying its own data. We designed the interface so that density never becomes clutter, consistent module layouts, filterable tables, status chips, and a dashboard that puts the numbers needing attention up front. The team moves from the high-level view to a single purchase order in a click, without learning five different screens. Role-based access keeps each user, including external agents, to the views and actions they need.
Every module is built from the same component set, shared tables, filters, forms and chart widgets, so the product reads as one tool, and new modules ship on top of patterns the team already knows.

Planning the POs
Every purchase order in one controlled workflow.
Planning is where supply starts. The team creates, edits, filters and removes purchase orders, moves each one through its status, and exports a clean PDF when a supplier or an audit needs one. It is the system of record for everything the company buys, so no order depends on a spreadsheet someone forgot to update.

- Excel sheets
- Manual tracking
- Disconnected data
- Time-consuming processes

- Centralised web platform
- Real-time data visibility
- Automated workflows
- Faster decision-making
One pipeline from purchase order to shipment, with no spreadsheet in the middle.
Shipment management
Order it in Planning, ship it without re-typing a thing.
The shipment module reviews, monitors and creates shipments, wired directly into Planning so a shipment carries its order data instead of re-keying it. The team sees what is moving, when, and against which purchase order, without cross-checking two systems.

Inventories and components
User management
Role-based access and control for distributed teams.
Supplier registry
Centralised database of suppliers with structured, accessible data.
Custom PDF automation
From manual emails to instant document generation and sending. Custom PDF creation lives directly in the platform, so the team sends purchase orders the moment they are ready.

Every supply decision, made from the same set of numbers.

Forecasting sales
Predicting supply and demand with an algorithm in place.
The forecast module tracks current and future supply against demand, so the team can spot a shortfall while there is still time to act on it. For a business that sells agility to pharma clients, planning ahead is the product.
