Project

Sokla Architects works in architecture, bills of quantities and real estate management, supporting construction companies and investors across Montenegro through project development. Their core strength is bill-of-quantities preparation, where a precise calculation of material and work quantities decides whether a build is cost-efficient. Every item carries a detailed description of the works and materials, with scope, quality and dimensions expressed in the right units, metres, square metres, cubic metres or pieces.

We built Sokla BOQ, a custom platform that takes that expertise off spreadsheets and turns it into a fast, repeatable tool.

The challenge

For years, Sokla built every bill of quantities by hand in Excel. Preparing a report meant filling sheets manually and then reviewing them row by row, slow, and easy to get wrong. There was no central database, so retrieving information meant digging through folders. The whole process was manual and administrative, and it ate time on work where precision is the entire point.

Item database & drag-and-drop builder

Drag the items in, change the numbers, done.

Sokla's whole catalogue lives in one database, each item already carrying its description, specification and units. Building a report is drag-and-drop: pull the items into the report and adjust the quantities, the descriptions are already written. Work that used to mean typing every row by hand is now changing a few numbers.

The report used to be built row by row. Now it's built by dragging.

Instant recapitulation and cost

Every service and the final cost, totalled instantly.

The platform recapitulates all services and the final cost automatically, in a form ready to put in front of an investor or a construction partner. No separate summary sheet, no manual totals to reconcile.

Client-ready PDF, sent from the platform

A clean PDF the client can actually read, sent in one click.

Large reports export as well-formatted, readable PDFs and go straight to the client from the platform. What used to be an export-format-email chore is now one step, in a format the end client understands at a glance.
