Codepixel to build the next phase of Montenegro's exam digitalisation

Mihailo Raspopović and Miloš Trivić with the signed contracts at the Examination Centre of Montenegro

The Examination Centre of Montenegro has signed Codepixel to build the software for the next phase of digitalising Montenegro's external exams. For students who sit the matura and the vocational exam at the end of secondary school, registration, grading, review of graded papers and appeals will all run through the new system. Our CEO Mihailo Raspopović signed the contract with the Centre's director Miloš Trivić, after Codepixel was selected in a public procurement procedure.

The Centre published the announcement on 14 September 2026 and Dan, Vijesti, CdM and eTV carried it the same day. It is below in our English translation, with the original linked at the end.

Public-sector work like this has a fixed national date, a legally binding result and a process that has to hold when a parent challenges it. How we handle that is on government and public sector and education. The projects are in our work.

The Centre's announcement

Digitalisation of the matura and vocational exam

The director of the Examination Centre, Miloš Trivić, MSc, has signed a contract with Mihailo Raspopović, director of the company Codepixel, selected in a public procurement procedure as the contractor to develop the software for the next phase of the digitalisation of external exams.

Following the successful digitalisation of the external assessment at the end of the third cycle of primary school (the small matura), as well as the national testing at the end of the second cycle of primary school, the Examination Centre is continuing the digital transformation of its assessment processes.

With the new project for secondary school students taking the matura and vocational exams, the processes of registration, grading, review and appeal will be fully digitalised, which further simplifies and speeds up the procedure and makes it more efficient for schools, teachers, students and their parents.

The activity is being carried out in line with the measures of the Education Reform Strategy 2025-2035 and the Strategy for the Digitalisation of the Education System 2022-2027.

In the coming period, amendments to secondary legislation will follow to create the legal framework for applying the new digitalised system, of which the public will be informed in due course.

Digitalisation is not only a change in the way we take exams. It is a step towards a more efficient, more transparent and more modern education system.
