A Corporate Portal For Montenegro's Grid Operator

Live operational data, investor relations, ESG and tenders in one bilingual site that non-technical staff run themselves, for the country's electricity transmission system operator.

Project

CGES is Montenegro's national electricity transmission system operator, a regulated public-interest joint-stock company headquartered in Podgorica, majority-owned by the Government of Montenegro with Italy's Terna S.p.A. as strategic partner. It runs the country's high-voltage grid, handles cross-border electricity exchange and integrates renewables into the regional market.

We built the company's corporate website: a bilingual WordPress portal with a custom theme that carries press releases, the project and infrastructure portfolio, investor relations, ESG reporting and tender announcements, and integrates live operational data from the company's SCADA systems. The brief was a professional, national-grade corporate site to replace a dated one, delivered to deadline. We worked with the company's managers in writing, on calls and in person through the build, the mix a public institution's sign-off actually needs.

The challenge

National infrastructure is read by everyone at once.

A transmission operator's website is read by the public, shareholders and investors, regulators, journalists, procurement bidders and international energy partners. The old site no longer matched the institution's weight or its digital-transformation strategy.

CGES needed a portal that worked like national infrastructure: credible enough for investors and regulators, clear enough for the public, able to surface live operational grid data without ever exposing the critical systems behind it. It also had to be bilingual, maintainable by the company's own staff and delivered on schedule.

Brand & design system

The redesign gives CGES the visual authority a national operator should carry: an institutional, trustworthy interface that holds investor reporting, regulatory documents and live grid data in one coherent system. The client's Clutch review names the outcome plainly: a substantially improved design over the old site, with every project item delivered on time.

Live operational data on the public web

The national grid, visible, without exposing a single critical system.

The portal embeds live Web SCADA dashboards and interactive network data, so the public, regulators and partners can see real operational information drawn straight from the company's monitoring systems. The integration surfaces the data on the public site while keeping the operational systems themselves isolated and secure, the hard part of the build and the thing a standard corporate site can't do.

One portal for every stakeholder

Investors, regulators, journalists and bidders each find what they came for.

Corporate and organisational information, news and press releases, the project and infrastructure portfolio, investor relations and stock-market data, ESG and sustainability reports, procurement and tender announcements and a multimedia gallery all sit in one structured portal. A regulated public-interest company has to serve every one of these audiences in public, so the site is organised for each to reach its content without wading through the others.

Secure document and regulatory management

Every report and regulation, published once and findable.

CGES staff publish regulatory filings, financial and ESG reports and tender files through one controlled document workflow. We apply security by design, and our quality and information security management are certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 27001. A national operator's disclosures are legally and commercially load-bearing, so the maintenance and security discipline behind them matters more here than on an ordinary corporate site.
